Abrehart Transport in the Community
We are active supporters of community. Abrehart Transport, run and owned by Gary Abrehart, has and is actively involved with many events and community groups.
Convoy for Kids, which supports children’s cancer charities is held every four years. Gary, Jackie, Gary’s son, Pete, and Gary’s workers took four trucks, all clean and polished to the convoy from Traralgon to Lakes Entrance. The trucks were on display at the Airport at Lakes Entrance for the day. Convoy for kids – check it out on youtube.com.
Abrehart Transport has been helping the human powered vehicle sport in Victoria since his oldest son started high school. (His youngest son now drives a truck, so that's quite a while!)
Gary Abrehart provides a trailer for the stage for Carols by Candlelight run by the Uniting Church, Narre Warren North every year for around 25 years so far and still doing it.
Abrehart Transport delivers hay for disaster relief projects as and when they arise following bushfires and drought .
Gary has also delivered many building materials for various projects for the Mafeking Rovers.
